It the local beach breakfast joint we had coffee and shared a breakfast plate of eggs over hard, two strips of thick bacon and waffle cut home fries while writing and filming the morning. Friendly servers and locals. Nice little place to sit and enjoy life

Chucks is an Old School Cafe it's not fancy but it sure beats IHOP or Dennys. Its located steps from the beach and there's almost always a nice ocean breeze. The food is as good or better than any place around.Reminds me of an old fashioned Drive in or bowling ally.

This Long Beach landmark has for nearly 50 something years been piloted by the ever congenial owner Chuck Tinkler, the gregarious owner. Almost always there, greeting his guests, watching over the kitchen and front of the house to make certain everything was perfect. It is with a heavy heart to say that Chuck passed a couple weeks ago. He will be missed but not forgottenas his capable staff have been taught well and will continue to maintain the quality of fresh delicious fare and friendly prompt service as they always have. Chuck, you are missed, may you Rest In P!eace
